Shipping

How much is shipping & delivery?

We want to make the Fast and Simple delivery process for you.

DELIVERY OPTIONS:

1- CURBSIDE DELIVERY: Furniture delivery to curbside

* Please note that assembly service is not included in the Curbside Delivery service. 

2- IN-ROOM DELIVERY: Furniture delivery to the room of your choice (unpacking and assembly of furniture NOT included). 

* Please note that assmebly and trash removal service is not included in this option.

3- IN-ROOM DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY & TRASH REMOVAL: Furniture delivery to the room of your choice, unpacking and assembly of furniture, and taking the trash back.

4- CURBSIDE DELIVERY: Furniture delivery to the curb or end of the driveway outside the requested delivery address. Someone will have to be on hand to meet the driver and sign for the package.

** In case of refusing or returning the shipment, buyer will be charged a 30% restocking fee as well as two-way freight costs. Likewise, in case of refusal of shipment or failure to comply with the delivery requirements; attempted delivery, detention, and/or storage fees will be the sole responsibility of the consignee.

What if my order arrives damaged or missing?

Damaged products and missing pieces must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. After 48 hours of delivery, no claims will be allowed. Therefore, please inspect the merchandise for damages or missing parts as soon as you receive your product(s). Please attach photos of the damaged product to the email and keep the original packaging of the damaged merchandise as it is required for replacement.

Ornate Home reserves to right cancel any orders or delay the shipments for reasons including but not limited to manufacturer, carrier, stock, and/or cost related issues on out-of-state orders without prior notice.

We inspect and ship all merchandise in factory manufactured condition unless stated or requested otherwise. Likewise, we make every effort by meticulous palletizing and/or thorough packaging to prevent partial loss or damage of merchandise. In case of loss or damage of shipments en route, after the shipment leaves our warehouse, it is buyer’s responsibility to file a claim against the freight company. In certain cases, Ornate Home, at its whole discretion, may choose to arrange a repair service when/where possible and/or applicable. Monetary compensation of any amount will never be an option, if insurance or freight liability or repair is a possible remedy of any level or kind. By law, tax exemption does not apply to orders placed and/or fulfilled in the State of California where our HQ is located.

How long will it take to receive my order?

  • We offer next-day delivery in Greater Los Angeles area for the products that display "NEXT-DAY". If these products are ordered by 12 pm Monday to Friday, they will be delivered the next day. If they are ordered after 12pm, delivery will be the next business day. Next-Day Delivery is not available Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as changes in delivery capacity and shipping volumes, may delay the delivery of your order.
  • We ship the products which display "NEXT DAY" the next business day to other locations. Delivery date depends on the destination.
  • Items with the "NEXT DAY" label are ready for delivery. Items that do not have this badge will be back-ordered from the vendor after your order is received. The delivery date may vary depending on the availability of the products from vendor companies, destination, weather conditions, shipping volumes, and force majeure. Please note that changes in inventory or delivery capacity, as well as unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, may delay the delivery of your order.

Return

Can I return my product?

At Ornate Home, our focus is to offer high quality furniture and well known name brands to our customers at discounted prices. Therefore, due to our low margin we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any items. However, in an extremely exceptional case of accepting a return, at the sole discretion of the seller, -or cancellation of an order, which has been paid for and confirmed-, a nonnegotiable 30% restocking fee and a reverse delivery fee will be assessed. No return or cancellation requests will be deemed as valid unless exceptionally approved and clearly confirmed via email by us. Our return policy may not apply to all of our merchants. Any exceptions are listed on the item's page. Mattresses, foundations, bedding, linens, and cordless power packs are non-refundable and non-exchangeable as well. Round-trip shipping charges apply to all returns and exchanges. If your item was shipped with our "Free Shipping" option, we will charge our outgoing shipping expenses because shipping is already included in the price, but the buyer will still be charged the round trip shipping costs incurred by Ornate Home.

What is the Conditions for a Complete Refund?

- Items must be brand new and unopened, free from damage, pet hairs, soil, or stains.

- All original packaging and accessories must be returned with the item.

- At your expense, items must be shipped back to us fully insured and via a trackable shipping method.

- Items must not be assembled or altered in any manner

What is your cancellation policy?

Any cancellations will be considered "returns" if your order has already shipped from the manufacturer. A canceled order must be returned in its whole. There are no exceptions. Without incurring any return fees or shipping costs, orders may be canceled within 24 hours after placement. A consumer must email Ornate Home to cancel an order.

Please write us an email requesting cancellation. Cancellation requests are not complete unless Ornate Home confirms them.

When you place an order with Ornate Home, many of the things we sell are ordered from our vendors. As we process your order, a lot of effort goes on behind the scenes. We strive to move orders through the system as rapidly as possible so that you can have your furniture as soon as feasible.

Once an order has been allocated to a trip or is in transit, it cannot be canceled without the client paying round-trip shipping expenses as well as a 15% restocking fee. Only Ornate Home management has the authority to make exceptions to this policy. Customers must send an email with the word "Cancellation" in the subject line to cancel an order. In this regard, the buyer acknowledges that only Ornate Home can handle written cancellation requests made within a 24-hour period after the order is placed, as indicated earlier.

Any cancellations of the order after this point must be handled according to the Cancellation Policy. If Ornate Home management accepts the cancellation, the buyer is responsible for a cancellation payment or restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price, plus any applicable shipping fees.

The consumer must keep the order to qualify for free shipping. Even if the order qualifies for Free Shipping, customers must pay for both the original and return shipping costs. All shipping charges are non-refundable.
