What types of Jofran dining tables are available?

Jofran dining tables are available in 5 main formats: extension tables, round to oval tables, trestle tables, high/low tables, and counter height tables. Extension and round to oval tables add seating for holidays, trestle tables give a farmhouse look with open legroom, and high/low tables share one design across standard and counter heights. Several tables include built-in storage, such as barn-door cabinets or side drawers.

Should you buy a Jofran dining set or separate pieces?

You should buy a Jofran dining set when you want a matched table and chairs in one finish, and separate pieces when you want a custom mix. Sets pair each table with ladderback, slatback, X-back, or upholstered chairs, and some add a bench. Shopping separately lets you swap chair styles, add a bench to one side, or combine a natural top with black chairs. For seating outside the Jofran line, compare dining room sets across all brands.

What is the difference between dining height and counter height?

The difference between dining height and counter height is about 6 inches (15 cm). Standard dining tables stand near 30 inches (76 cm) and pair with chairs, while counter height tables stand near 36 inches (91 cm) and pair with 24 to 26 inch (61 to 66 cm) stools. Counter height sets suit kitchens and open floor plans, and standard height suits formal or family dining rooms.

Which Jofran dining collections should you consider?

Jofran dining collections to consider include Madison County, Nature's Edge, Simplicity, Telluride, and Cannon Valley, each with its own material and style. Madison County pairs reclaimed pine tops with Vintage White, Vintage Black, or Barnwood bases. Nature's Edge combines solid acacia with iron, Simplicity uses solid Asian hardwood in clean shapes, Telluride leans on Driftwood and gold finishes, and the Cannon Valley collection by Jofran adds trestle and high/low tables in Distressed Brown.

How much dining room space does a Jofran table need?

A Jofran dining table needs about 36 inches (91 cm) of clearance between the table edge and walls or furniture so chairs slide out freely. A 60 inch (152 cm) rectangular table seats 6 in most rooms, while a 72 inch (183 cm) or extended table seats 8. Measure with chairs pulled back, not tucked in.

What dining storage does Jofran offer?

Jofran dining storage includes servers, hutches, sideboards, wine cabinets, and banquettes with seat storage. Barn-door servers in the Madison County collection hide table linens and serveware behind sliding doors, while hutch tops add display shelving above. Match the server finish to your table base for a cohesive room, or browse sideboards and buffets for additional sizes.
