Madeleine Dolphin Linen Queen Wingback Platform Storage Bed
The Madeleine Dolphin Linen Queen Wingback Platform Storage Bed is a platform storage bed constructed from Dolphin Linen fabric and solid wood that provides sleep support and hidden storage. Part of the Modus Geneva upholstered bed collection, this bed features a wrapped textural linen fabric. It includes a custom-fit platform bed frame, upholstered in the same linen fabric, with a European-style bentwood mattress support for use without a box spring.
KEY FEATURES
- Hidden Storage: A hidden storage system with two extra deep, castered drawer boxes attaches directly to the footboard for convenient storage.
- Frame Structure: The bed frame uses a 1-piece headboard that extends to the floor, providing a strong foundation; this product ships via freight carrier due to its size.
- Platform Support: A supportive platform bed mattress support system consists of a wooden center rail with support legs and wooden slats, designed for use without a box spring.
- Headboard Levelers: Headboard legs are fitted with countersunk adjustable levelers for stable use on uneven floors.
- Durable Assembly: Metal side and center rail brackets ensure easy assembly, reassembly, and long-term durability.
- Design Aesthetic: A shelter bed design accented with button tufting adds visual interest to any bedroom.
- Upholstery Material: The linen-like upholstery is a soft, tightly woven, yarn-dyed fabric made from 100% polyester, offering stain resistance and meeting fabric wear standards. The warm gray color combines gray and brown threads.
- Configuration Options: This bed is also available as a standard platform bed or as a headboard-only for use with metal bed frames.
- Headboard Compatibility (Headboard-Only Option): Headboards fit standard metal frames with threaded inserts at 5 5/8, 6 1/4, 8 1/8 and 8 3/4 above floor level. Hole centers are 59 inches in queen, 71 in California King, and 75 in King. Headboards also fit most non-standard frames with a Modi-plate (available from most metal frame manufacturers).
