Description

The Royal Dolphin Linen California King Tufted Platform Bed from Modus is a platform bed constructed from linen-like polyester fabric that provides a soft sleeping surface. This custom-fit platform bed frame includes a European-style bentwood mattress support, designed for use without a box spring to simplify setup. Its large headboard allows for high pillow stacking or presents a clean backdrop for various decor styles.

KEY FEATURES

Headboard Design: A premium bed frame uses a 1-piece headboard that extends all the way to the floor, creating a complete and finished appearance.
Mattress Support System: A supportive platform bed mattress support system consists of a wooden center rail with support legs and wooden slats, providing stable mattress foundation.
Headboard Levelers: Headboard legs are fitted with countersunk adjustable levelers, allowing for stable use on uneven floors.
Assembly Process: A mostly tool-free assembly process uses rubber clips and thoughtful design to simplify the procedure.
Structural Durability: Metal side and center rail brackets make for easy assembly, reassembly, and long-term durability.
Styling Details: Vintage chesterfield styling is present with a rollback top profile, diagonal stitching, and deep button tufting for a distinct look.
Upholstery Material: The linen-like upholstery material is a soft, tightly woven, yarn-dyed fabric made from 100% polyester, offering more stain resistance than cotton and linen. Its knitted backing provides a soft hand and increased durability that exceeds all consumer and commercial fabric wear standards at 100,000 double rubs for lasting use.
Leg Finish: Tapered block feet are hand-finished in an Espresso tone, providing a contrasting detail with the upholstery and broadening the range of compatible colors.
Headboard Compatibility: Headboards feature built-in levelers and are designed to fit standard metal frames with threaded inserts at 5 5/8, 6 1/4, 8 1/8 and 8 3/4 inches above floor level. Hole centers are 71 inches in California King. Headboards will attach to most non-standard frames with a Modi-plate (available from most metal frame manufacturers).
Product Variations: This collection is also available as a footboard storage bed or as a headboard-only option for use with metal bed frames.

WHERE TO USE

This California King platform bed is suitable for main bedrooms or guest rooms, providing a central anchor for various decor styles. Its neutral color palette allows for integration with existing furnishings and bedding.
